Least anyone wonder what traffic would be like if any of the tear down options (even for a tunnel, completed years later) become reality for the Seattle Viaduct, you need to look no further than the sad "crash and burn" that killed 3 people on the upper West Seattle bridge, closing the bridge for hours during morning rush hour commute. Don't worry, just go home ... businesses won't survive, either.
Or traffic can keep rolling with the retrofit option. And you'll save a boat load of money to spend on trivialities like health care and food, for your family.
